About Nirikh (নিরিখ)

Nirikh is a concise, source-transparent publication for educated, professional Bangladeshis at home and abroad. We cover national affairs, business and the economy, technology, careers and education, money, property, travel, culture, style and the weekend.

What we promise

• Useful, not loud. Short briefs that say what happened, why it matters and what to watch. No "breaking" theatre.
• Sources you can check. Every brief lists its sources and tells you which are primary (official notices, filings, data) and which are other outlets' reporting.
• Corrections in the open. Every published change is logged on the corrections page and marked on the story.
• Editorial independence. Advertising, sponsored content and promotions for our sister commerce site Melay are always labelled and never influence what we cover or how we rank it.
• Bangla and English. We publish in both; many stories carry both languages with a toggle.

How we use automation

Software helps our editors collect official notices and reporting, group stories about the same event, and prepare first drafts with every claim tied to a source. A human editor reviews and approves every story before publication. Sensitive topics - politics, elections, allegations, crime, courts, deaths, health claims and communal issues - always require a senior editor. Nothing is published automatically.
